Research
I use transient gravitational wave signals to study the lives, deaths, and afterlives of compact objects such as neutron stars and black holes. I also use them as probes of cosmology, astrophysics, and strong gravity. To achieve this, I build fast and robust statistical techniques. I also like to think about similar questions about compact objects using electromagnetic astronomy.
