Anne works in observational cosmology studying the origins of the Universe through measurements of the cosmic microwave background. She helped build and launch the SPIDER balloon-borne telescope during her graduate studies, and is now completing the analysis of data collected during that flight. As a KICP fellow, she has joined the SPT collaboration. She works on power spectrum and likelihood estimation and on building scalable software tools and analysis pipelines for SPIDER and SPT.

She also organizes the Lifelong Learning outreach program in which KICP members and associates give talks to seniors at various venues in Chicago.

In her free time, Anne loves to climb and play pool. She organized a team of pool-playing astrophysicists in a Chicago pool league, and they didn't do half bad.
