Research
I am interested in astroparticle physics, plasma physics, and multi-messenger astronomy. I study compact sources and transient events, such as neutron stars, or tidal disruption events. I work on modeling the acceleration and propagation of particles in their vicinity, and on predicting their multi-messenger emissions (photons, cosmic rays, high-energy neutrinos). For instance, I study proton acceleration, propagation and interactions in pulsar magnetospheres and winds. I am also part of the JEM-EUSO collaboration (in the context of the EUSO-SPB2 mission), and of the POEMMA and GRAND collaborations. With complementary techniques, these missions aim at studying high to ultra-high energy cosmic rays, and eventually at performing the first detection of very-high energy neutrinos.
