My research has been revolving around galaxy clusters and large scale structures. I am heavily involved in the Dark Energy Survey (DES) project.
My recent interest is on characterzing the cluster galaxy population to better understand cluster astrophysics processes, and also to improve clusters as cosmology probes. My other responsibilities include coordinating high redshift cluster science within the DES collaboration.
I also have a bit of experience with the detection and photometry measurement of galaxies in crowded cluster cores. I authored a package called the GAIN deblender that can be applied to this topic for extremely wide field surveys (i.e., SDSS and DES).
