KICP's Funch: KICP Cosmology Lunch (Funch) Weekly on Fridays, Noon, ERC 401 & Zoom
Please join us for an informal lunch discussion, led by KICP fellows, of recent news and papers in cosmology. Topics range from experiment and observations to theory in all areas of KICP science.
Hi all,
For each meeting, we will request four speakers to each informally summarize a recent paper (10mins + 5mins for discussion/questions). You can contact us if you would like to volunteer for that week’s Funch, but we encourage you to vote and suggest new papers on Benty-Fields (Journal Club: Funch @ University of Chicago). Note that a vote on Benty-Fields does not imply a willingness to present, so please vote away! There is a separate option on Benty-Fields to indicate that you would like to lead the discussion of that paper.
As mentioned, we encourage everyone to attend, and to suggest papers from any subfield! If you have a new paper, this is a great opportunity to share your results — we would love to hear about it. We will be hosting Funches in a hybrid in-person/virtual format. The in-person meeting will be in ERC 401 and the Zoom.
