My research lies at the intersection of cosmology and general relativity, most of the time involving simulations. Usually, our cosmological simulations of large-scale structure formation make assumptions about the nature of gravity and space-time. These simulations are extremely important to our understanding of the Universe in regimes we cannot access analytically. I do cosmological simulations which drop these assumptions and solve Einstein's equations exactly, allowing a robust test of common simplifying assumptions as well as assessing the impact of nonlinear general relativity on cosmological observables. I also love doing public outreach and getting people excited about science! I'm originally from Melbourne, Australia, and I love to swim, surf, cycle, and am learning to skateboard in the absence of waves!
